Sunders sales soar, thanks to new own label range
Sunder Sandher of One Stop Leamington Spa has seen his chilled sales rise by over £400 per week, thanks to the introduction of over 350 new own label lines across all categories. One Stop launched their new range in July ‘17 with a goal to offer customers better quality products at lower prices, which includes bigger pack sizes and better value across a broader range than ever before, particularly in fresh meat and produce.
Sunder commented: “Our customers are loving all the new own label products One Stop have introduced, especially the fantastic new chilled range. We’ve been brave and taken the entire range and by giving customers a chance to taste the products by ensuring we have great availability, it’s been a huge success. Our customers are constantly comment on the quality and choice and we’re taking £400 more a week on chilled alone versus this time last year, and for the first time ever our chilled sales have overtaken our tobacco sales. The point-of-sale One Stop provide to promote the range in-store is fantastic, this along with increased consumer leaflets and our active presence on social media is really helping to drive footfall and let everyone know that we now have a complete grocery offer.
We’ve also been able to grow our chilled sales thanks to One Stop’s improved meal deals. The ready meals in the 2 for £4 evening meal deal are flying out, and the £3 lunch time meal deal, which has to be the best lunch time meal deal in the market for the price. New range additions offer even more choice for customers – and we’ve just added Tchibo hot drinks and Slush Puppie to the deal!”
