Love is in the air and convenience store retailer One Stop is spreading it far and wide this year with a great range of Valentine’s Day promotions that will automatically be available to all its franchisees.

For a four-week period in the run-up to Valentine’s Day, One Stop has some strong promotions across a range of popular brands. These include chocolate lover’s favourites, Lindt and Dairy Box and for those who like a little tipple there are offers on Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin, Yellow Tail white wine and Cassilero Del Diablo red wine, all helping to entice customers into store to find something perfect for that special someone.

“We aim to make our market leading promotions as competitive as possible as our experience shows this really brings customers into store. From cards to flowers and from chocolate to wine, we’re definitely the one stop shop needed for Valentines!

“Our franchisees don’t need to think about the promotions, as it’s all done for them, from the stock being delivered to their door to a free-of-charge point of sale kit. We provide a strong four weekly promotional plan that includes seasonal overlays, so everything is always fresh and relevant.”

Over the years customers have certainly voted with their feet during the Valentine’s period as franchisee, Raj Sangha from Jerry’s Lane Store in Erdington explains: “The promotions not only help to bring footfall into store but they increase basket spend over the period.

“If customers buy flowers, then my staff – who have been with me a long time – know to use the opportunity to sell a card or some chocolates, which is where the promotions work so well.

“We sold out of our flowers by 10am on Valentine’s Day last year as they look fantastic, they’re excellent quality and my customers tell me they last for ages. This year I’ve made sure we’ve ordered more because with 5,500 customers coming into my store every week, I need to make sure I have enough as we always do well on flowers.

“The promotions are really great and on par with the big supermarkets and everything is done for us, so the whole process is very easy.”

The Valentine’s offers are running in stores across England and Wales from 28th January to 25th February, ensuring One Stop customers are appreciated before, during and after Valentine’s weekend, encouraging footfall not to drop-off as soon as the big date is over.
