Ton up for One Stop Franchise

7 May 2015

One Stop is celebrating treble figures for its franchise operation, just fifteen months since the full roll-out.

The 100th store to sign up to One Stop’s franchise model is located in the Midlands and will be undergoing its transformation within the next 2 months. The store’s exact location is being kept under wraps until the full refit has been completed – with plans to celebrate its status as the 100th franchise during its official store launch.

One Stop Franchise offers a credible alternative to the various wholesale-based options, providing independent retailers with the opportunity to work with a genuine retail partner. To date, One Stop has attracted well over 2,000 enquiries about its franchise scheme, a figure which has been boosted recently by more than 100 expressions of interest from independent retailers in Scotland, as the group prepares for an imminent launch north of the border.

Andrew King, One Stop Franchise Director, stated:
“Six months on from our first major milestone and we’re delighted to hit the 100 mark. We have a passionate team of retail experts within franchise and they’re helping to deliver some great results for our franchisees. It’s a tough market out there, but our focus on driving sales and profits, helping retailers to cut costs and make their day to day operations much simpler, is showing through on their bottom line. We have a great set of retailers, who know that they have input in how we develop – and because we do things differently, we have great fun in the process. It’s been a fantastic year for us so far.”

Pip Wilkins, head of operations for the British Franchise Association, said:
"We congratulate One Stop on reaching 100 franchise stores, an impressive landmark and one which has been achieved with very rapid growth. Good franchising is about controlled expansion and One Stop have demonstrated the substantial support infrastructure required to sustain this rate of network development, now and in the future. That's one reason why we were pleased to shortlist them for the Emerging Franchisor of the Year 2015 award."
