One Stop Franchise first to market with new partnership

One Stop Franchise is set to become the first to market with a new Country Choice package, as the group forges a category partnership with one of the leading in-store bakery providers.

Franchisees will be offered a unique support package, aimed at ensuring a smooth transition into the bakery and food to go opportunity. In addition to the usual benefits offered by Country Choice of monthly visits from their representative and free top-up training when required, they will also receive a bespoke promotional programme, aimed at exploiting One Stop’s systems and tying in with their promotional timetable. An added bonus is that stores will receive 2 free cases of product for sampling purposes during their store launch activity and Country Choice will support the agreed module’s waste budget for the first month’s trading, provided that retailers meet purchasing requirements.

One Stop Franchise’s Head of Commercial, Galen Levi, stated:
“In-store bakery is a growing opportunity - with sales growing by 14% in convenience last year and 44% of shoppers expecting a convenience store to have an in-store bakery. Whether retailers already offer this or are looking to move into it, our new package with Country Choice will enable our franchisees to develop their bakery and food to go offering, with the minimum amount of risk. The additional benefits we’re giving our franchisees are a reward for the consistency and compliance we can offer throughout our estate.
