One Stop Franchise expands team to deal with growth

One Stop Franchise has made two more appointments, as it continues to prove an attractive proposition to independent retailers.

Matt Elliott will join One Stop Franchise from 22 September as a Business Development Manager (BDM), with the important remit of growing existing franchisees’ businesses, as well as bringing new retailers on board. In addition, Stephen Clark has been appointed as a Launch Support Manager (LSM) and will move from his current role as a One Stop store manager at the end of August.

Matt joins One Stop after sixteen years at Musgrave Retail Partners, the majority of which was in the role of Regional Sales Manager for Central Midlands and Yorkshire. Prior to Musgrave, Matt spent over five years at Morrisons, working in a number of in-store operational roles, most recently as Grocery Manager. His extensive knowledge of the independent convenience sector and in-store operations will allow Matt to develop strong partnerships with One Stop’s existing and potential franchisees.

Stephen is currently a One Stop store manager and will move from its Stubbington, Fareham store, having spent nine years with the company to date. As a Launch Support Manager, Stephen will deliver a key element of the franchise package, working with retailers during their transition period. Each franchisee has a dedicated LSM in-store for a full week after EPoS install, training the retailer and their team on EPoS, front/back office and trading legally & safely, whilst also helping to build in the new product range. All LSMs are former One Stop store managers, to ensure that they have the necessary expertise to share with franchisees.

Both roles will report to John Miller, Head of Operations – Franchise, who stated:
